Our family has expanded significantly since Camp Jamison opened its doors in 2011 with just nine campers. Yet, our mission remains the same: to provide a diverse, inclusive, and affordable overnight camp experience. We are privileged to see our campers, like Zahaad and Josiah, grow into their potential each summer. Starting as 8-year-olds in 2016, they have spent summers swimming, paddling, and playing basketball. Now, they are stepping into roles as Counselors-in-Training (CITs) for 2024, ready to lead and inspire the next generation.

Despite our successes, the need to support eager campers remains. This year, we’ve allocated over $60,000 in scholarships to enable 60 campers to join us. Yet, the financial barrier still stands for many. It takes $1,500 to sponsor a camper for a week, allowing them to learn, grow, and thrive at Camp Jamison. Levels of Giving
$5,000—Camp Director: This position supports five campers. Perks include the exclusive Camp Jamison picture book and an invitation to the 2024 summer session.

Camp Dates: Circle July 21st to July 27th on your calendar, as these are when your child will embark on an incredible journey filled with fun, learning, and friendship.

Age Requirements: New campers aged 8 to 14 can join our Camp Jamison family. If your child is 15, they must be returning campers to join in the excitement. If your camper is 16, they’ve already received an invitation to be a Counselor in Training (CIT), and we hope you’ve completed that form.
