Brendan Smith has more than 15 years of experience in communications, including roles in satellite radio, public affairs consulting, financial services, and energy. He is currently a Communications Manager at Marathon Petroleum.

Inspired by the achievements of Camp Jamison, Brendan views camp as a powerful platform to advance inclusion and positively impact the trajectory of a child’s life. He endeavors to pull from his varied experiences and network to help fulfill the organization’s mission.

Brendan earned a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the Catholic University of America and a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. He also holds certificates from the Harvard Business School Online CORe program and the Marathon Strategic Leadership program at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.

Brendan grew up in Holyoke, MA, began his career in Washington, DC, and currently resides in San Antonio, TX. He is married with two children and has witnessed the value of camp through his daughter and nieces. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and coaching youth sports.
