SHEIK MEAH
Sheik Meah has worked in education and nonprofits for seven years. He also worked in the media industry as a radio personality and producer, including having a nationally syndicated show, several local radio show credits and leading an internship program during his tenure in the media industry.
A graduate of Temple University’s Communications school, Sheik developed a passion for contributing to his community very early in his adult life. Beyond running coat drives, food drives and spearheading charity efforts for other organizations, Sheik had an opportunity to develop his own virtual summer camp during the summer of 2020, while most of the world was stuck inside during the pandemic.
Camp Jamison gave Sheik the opportunity to be part of a summer camp that allows children to travel, make new friends, experience new things and get all the opportunities many children in the inner-city don’t get a chance to experience during their youth, and he is looking forward to the opportunity of helping more kids experience all the joys a summer camp has to offer.
When not working with Camp Jamison, Sheik is a Marketing Director for a non-profit and runs The Great Media Comic Convention in Media, Pennsylvania.
