HIKE-A-THON
This year, Camp-A-Jawn will end with Camp Jamison’s first annual Hike-A-Thon!
Our first ever Hike-A-Thon for Camp Jamison will take place in a hybrid format, with two options for participating:
If you’re in Philadelphia, you can join Camp Jamison in person on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, where a group of us will hike the popular 3.5-mile Wetland Loop there
If you’re somewhere else in the world, you’re welcome to join us virtually, from anywhere and at whatever time of day you’d like, to walk or hike a 3.5 mile stretch of your choosing in support of Camp Jamison campers and to raise awareness of the positive experience summer camp offers to everyone
The 2022 Camp-A-Jawn & Hike-A-Thon is, first and foremost, a fundraiser for Camp Jamison! All individual participants and families, whether in-person or virtual, are asked to raise $250!
But, not to worry: Camp Jamison will provide you with fundraising tips to help you easily meet this goal! Plus, we have some amazing fundraising incentives and prizes, so stay tuned for more information on what you could win by meeting or exceeding your goal.
All proceeds from Camp Jamison’s 2022 Camp-A-Jawn & Hike-A-Thon event will support Camp Jamison’s mission to provide a diverse, inclusive, and affordable summer camp for all children.
We need to raise $25,000 in the month of May to provide two sessions of Camp Jamison opportunities without worrying about finances.
There are two ways that you and your friends can get involved, have fun, and do something great in the life of a child.
