Based on the belief that an overnight summer camp experience can positively and significantly impact a child’s life, Camp Jamison held its first summer session in 2011, with just nine campers. Since that first summer, Camp Jamison has served hundreds of campers. Our campers are children ages 8 – 16 years old and come mostly from the Philadelphia metro area.

 

Our summer camp magic takes place every year on the 38-acre campus of the Pocono Environmental Education Center, which is situated in the middle of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. This partnership allows Camp Jamison to have the highest quality facilities, food, and lodging.

 

During the summers, we’ve hiked thousands of miles, explored rivers, swam in pools, laughed, and shared great cabin conversations. We have built a community of adventurous, thoughtful, peace-building leaders who care about each other and the world around them.

 

After 11 successful years, we look forward to seeing what the future holds for Camp Jamison.
